Diesel Mechanic in DANDENONG SOUTH, Victoria

An exciting opportunity exists for fully qualified Diesel Mechanic to join our organisation based at Dandenong South.
This crucial hands-on position involves the following key activities:
To maintain and repair plant and equipment at our workshop and field
servicing/breakdowns as required.
Carry out tasks at the highest standard possible while meeting requirement
deadlines.
Carry out inspections and assessments on vehicles as required and complete
the relevant documentation.
Conduct all activities in a manner to ensure personal safety, safety of others and
environmental protection
Ensuring all OH&S and other compliance requirements are adhered to.
The successful applicant will have the following attributes:
Relevant qualifications as a Diesel Mechanic with experience working on Trucks,
Trailers, plant and equipment.
Been working in the industry as a qualified tradesman for at least 5 years.
The ability to work in a fast paced environment whilst maintaining a high
workmanship standard.
Excellent organisational and problem solving skills.
Effective communication, reading & writing skills.
Ability to work within a team environment and independently as required.
Having Forklift, HC Drivers Licence will be an advantage.
